Student game project

There’s much to see here. Take your time, and learn all there is to know about us. We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line.

What is STEM?

SCIENCE | TECHNOLOGY | ENGINEERING | MATHEMATICS
These are the core disciplines for creating any kind of projects! From constructing complicated city bridges, to designing a standard deck of playing cards, or even cooking simple recipes. We believe that students need to get involved with STEM to be prepared for the needs of the future.

What to expect from our courses?

We build STEM activities and experiments to learn and grow while playing. Everything is online, so there are no due dates!
Beginners can take 2-4 months to learn from scratch, with a game prototype!
Experienced enthusiasts can take a few weeks to refresh knowledge, and test their creativity with our extra challenges!
Experts and educators can use the STEM program workbooks to teach others game design!

Who is your teacher?

Andy is your teacher, and he comes to you from New York, to bring STEM to your home! He has been a game designer, game programmer, subject-matter expert, and professor that has served universities, institutes and high schools across the east coast of the United States to bring classes, exams, workshops, summer camps, game jams, and more for students!

How safe are these courses?

Very Safe because you should be cozy at home or office! We use YouTube for video content, and Google Classroom to share the course material for our online STEM learning center. All forms of contact go privately through the classroom portal or via our website.

Personal information is never shared. We do, however, encourage students to share their work with us for a prize!

We will never impose any in person meetings or video calls with students. However, these are optional after their guardians sign our permissions form.

What kind of games do we make?

We also encourage students to take a completed game to make the market. Windows | Apple IOS | Google Play | Nintendo

Do we need to learn coding?

Nope! Although we recommend trying it it out just once… We can help you get started from any level you are on. Coding is optional because we can make games with a Game Engine.
See student sample games at our YouTube channel.

Is your computer good enough for games?

For the Unreal Engine course, a Windows/Mac computer is recommended with at least 10GB of storage, 8GB RAM, and other minimum requirements. See this page in our Lesson Plans document for more information and instructions.

The Unity 3D Engine will be more flexible, as it does not include advanced features by default.  A generic computer, with a basic graphics card, should do the trick.

Our coding course just needs a fine computer with internet. Most tablets even work!

We are also working on more application tools courses such as Photoshop and Android Studio!
